Head Coach
Responsibilities
1.Deliver high-quality coaching sessions across our programmes
2.Develop players technically, tactically, physically, and mentally
3.Lead performance squads, camps, and competition programmes
4.Support player progression and pathway development
5.Work collaboratively within the coaching team
6. Recruit, develop and grow a thriving tennis programme across all groups with particular focus on junior performance
7. Build strong links with local schools and community
8. Increase participation and membership of female players with tailored sessions
9. Offer Rusty Racket programmes to attract new members
Requirements
1.LTA Level 3 Accredited Coach or above
2.Proven coaching experience with junior players
3.Strong session planning and organisational skills
4.Competitive playing background desirable
5.Commitment to high coaching standards and player development

Sphynx Tennis Club is a friendly, community-focused club in the heart of Southport, near KGV Sixth Form College, welcoming players of all ages since 1920. We are the proud custodians of:

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a passionate and motivated Head Coach to develop and lead the Club.
We are seeking an experienced Level 3 coach capable of leading groups, developing players, and contributing to the continued growth of the club.
