US Open 2026: Mixed doubles draws announced as stars get set to open the action in New York

The US Open mixed doubles qualifying and main draws have been announced as the all-star event gets underway from 24-26 August.
Qualifying will be played on Monday 24 August to decide the final two spots in this year’s main draw.
Three British stars are involved in the qualifying event, including world No.1 Henry Patten, current Australian Open men’s doubles champion Neal Skupski and 2025 Wimbledon title-winner Lloyd Glasspool.
They will need to win two matches to qualify, where they will join the likes of Serena Williams, Carlos Alcaraz, Aryna Sabalenka, Novak Djokovic and many more.

- Peyton Stearns (USA) & Christian Harrison (USA) (WC) vs Aleksandra Krunic (SRB) & Mate Pavic (CRO) (4)
- Gabriela Dabrowski (CAN) & Harri Heliovaara (FIN) (2) vs Kristina Mladenovic (FRA) & Marcelo Arevalo (SAL)
- Erin Routliffe (NZL) & Lloyd Glasspool (GBR) vs Luisa Stefani (BRA) & Neal Skupski (GBR) (3)
In the main draw, top seeds Sabalenka and Djokovic will open against wild cards Leylah Fernandez and Frances Tiafoe, meanwhile, second seeds Jessica Pegula and Taylor Fritz face Diana Shnaider and Casper Ruud.
Williams and Alcaraz have been drawn against a qualifier in the first round before potentially facing the winner of Belinda Bencic and Flavio Cobolli against Taylor Townsend and Alexander Zverev.
