Defending champion Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid headline the wheelchair men's singles draws, alongside rising stars Ben Bartram and Andrew Penney.

World No.2 Hewett is aiming for his second WC1000 singles title of the season, while Reid is coming in off the back of lifting the trophy at the Lexus Eastbourne Open - defeating Bartam in the final.

Lucy Shuker and Cornelia Oosthuizen lead the British challenge in a competitive women's singles draw.

Andy Lapthorne, Greg Slade, and Oliver Cox are also set for the quad singles tournament as well.

In the junior events, 18U Lexus Junior National Championships winners Daniella Britton and Mark Ceban are set to compete for the coveted title, alongside Hollie Smart and Liam Channon.

Which other players are competing in the Lexus British Open Roehampton 2026?

All 14 of the world’s top-ranked players are on the men’s entry list, including Argentina’s 2024 champion Gustavo Fernandez and world No.1 Tokito Oda of Japan, who will be looking for his first title in Roehampton.

World No.2 and 2025 runner-up Diede de Groot, the winner of four British Open singles titles before the tournament became a grass court event in 2024, heads a women’s entry that brings together 14 of the world’s top-15 ranked players. De Groot arrives in Roehampton on the back of winning her third Lexus Eastbourne Open title.

De Groot is joined among a stellar entry by fellow Dutch player and another former British Open champion in Aniek van Koot, as well as Wang Ziying and Li Xiaohui, who made history in 2025 by becoming the first Chinese wheelchair players to win Grand Slam titles.

The quad singles entry list is led by Dutch duo Niels Vink and Sam Schroder, while 17-year-old Australian Jin Woodman is likely to be a strong contender on the back of making a victorious grass debut at the Lexus Eastbourne Open, where he beat Schroder in the semis.
