Course attendees must be aged 16 or over and be UK residents.
Attendees should have attended a Competition Organiser course, completed the Court Supervisor course or have previous experience of organising competitions.
Both days of the course are 9am-5pm.
CONTENT
Topics covered in the course include:
- Fair Play
- Rules of Padel
- Code of Conduct
- Refereeing Duties
- Court Supervising
- Handling situations e.g. on-court disputes
- Tournament organisation
- Tournament experience
- Safeguarding at competitions
There is an online module to be completed in advance and will be an online module to complete before attending day two.
ASSESSMENT
The course is assessed with an online summative assessment completed after the second day.
Passing the course will allow Referees to be eligible to referee at county level Padel tournaments and court supervise at higher level tournaments. Once they have their LTA Official Licence in place.
