Katie Boulter: Grass court season history, record and past results

Katie Boulter is looking ahead to another summer on the grass, where she’ll be hoping to build on her growing reputation as one of Britain’s most dangerous performers on the surface.

Boulter already has two grass court titles to her name and will be gunning to increase that figure heading into the summer.

We break down Boulter’s history on grass courts and look back at some of her past results and successes.

Boulter’s best grass court results

Boulter is a two-time grass court champion having won the Lexus Nottingham Open on two occasions.

The British star’s first time came in 2023 where she defeated compatriots Emily Appleton, Harriet Dart, Heather Watson and Jodie Burrage on her way to lifting her first WTA title. Boulter then returned to her home tournament the following year, where she overcame Emma Raducanu in the semi-final before edging former world No.1 Karolina Pliskova 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 to seal back-to-back crowns at the WTA 250 tournament.

She has also reached the third round at Wimbledon twice (2022, 2023) and made quarter-finals in Surbiton and Birmingham.

Boulter’s 2025 grass court season

Boulter competed in three grass court tournaments last year – all of which took place on British soil.

The British No.3 kick-started the summer swing at the HSBC Championships where she reached the second round before moving on to her home tournament in Nottingham where she arrived as the two-time defending champion.

There, she secured wins over Lulu Sun and Sonay Kartal before falling short in a quarter-final defeat to eventual champion McCartney Kessler.

The Brit then went on to defeat ninth seed Paula Badosa in the opening round at Wimbledon before bowing out to Argentina’s Solana Sierra.

She has reached the third round at Wimbledon on two occasions (2022, 2023).

What is Boulter’s biggest grass court win?

Boulter’s biggest win on a grass court came in the opening round of last year’s Wimbledon. There, she came through a tough three-set match against ninth seed Badosa – winning 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 to reach the second round.
