Day seven: Eala & Bu seal Birmingham titles
Alexandra Eala is the new Lexus Birmingham Open champion after claiming a hard-fought final victory over Nikola Bartunkova.
Meanwhile, Yunchaokete Bu came through two matches on the final day to lift the men's singles title.
Eala crowned women's singles champion
Eala became the first top seeded player to win a WTA 125 event since October 2025 as she battled from a set down to beat Bartunkova 5-7, 6-3, 7-5.
It's a second WTA 125 singles title for Eala, who also reached the final of the Lexus Eastbourne Open on grass last year.
The final proved a strong test for Eala, who overturned a break deficit early in the second set and saved three break points in the opening stages of the third.
Despite missing the chance to serve out the win at 5-4 in the decider, Eala offered the perfect response, restoring her lead once again in the following game before seeing out the victory.
Eala now heads to London for the HSBC Championships at The Queen's Club, where she will no doubt be one to watch.
Bu defeats Virtanen in men's final
Bu started the day with a three-set victory against Arthur Fery, before returning hours later to beat reigning champion Otto Virtanen 2-6, 7-6(3), 6-3 in the final.
The Chinese star turned the match on it's head in a dominant second set tie-break, before a double fault on the only break point of the decider helped him march on to victory.
This marks Bu's fourth career title at ATP Challenger level and his first career trophy on the grass.
Doubles
There were British champions in the men's doubles event with Ben Jones and Joshua Paris claiming the title.
The British team defeated Anirudh Chandrasekar and Takeru Yuzuki 6-4, 7-6(4) in the final.

Top seed Alexandra Eala will take on fifth seed Nikola Bartunkova in tomorrow's women's final after they both came through their semi final matches in between rain delays.

The 20-year-old looked in complete control at a set and 2-0 up before the American qualifier battled back to draw level.
The fifth seed showed real composure under pressure, saving two set points to force a deciding tie-break before fending off another two there, eventually sealing the match at the second opportunity.
Day five: Arthur Fery books his place in the semis
Arthur Fery is the first British man to reach the semi-finals at the Lexus British Open after defeating fifth seed Rinky Hijikata.
He'll face Yunchaokete Bu in the next round after he saw off Mark Lajal in his quarter-final.
Mika Stojsavljevic fought back from a set down but couldn't overcome world No.69 Nikola Bartunkova in the quarter-finals.
Top seed Alexandra Eala reached the semi-final with a straight-sets victory over Thailand's Mananchaya Sawangkaew.
Women's
The world No. 120 saved four break points early in the second set to steady herself before edging ahead. A well-timed break late in the third then allowed her to serve out the match with her first opportunity.
She'll face Masarova after she won 6-4, 3-6, 6-0 against Mary Stoiana.
After an early break sealed the opener, the Swiss player saved four set points before her opponent went level. She kept her head up in the decider to take six straight games and the match.

Day two: Opening round wins for Stojsavljevic, Fery, Harris & more

Due to rain, all of Monday's WTA and ATP matches, except for matches being played on Court 3 - have been cancelled at the Lexus Birmingham Open.
Mika Stojsavljevic was trailing fellow teenager Emerson Jones 6-3, 1-1 in her opening round match, while wild card entrants Jack Pinnington Jones and Oliver Tarvet were set to take on seeded players in their first round clashes.
Before the rain came in, American Elvina Kalieva had made a strong statement during her first round match against fourth seed Talia Gibson - knocking out the fourth seed 7-5, 2-6, 5-4 in two hours and 28 minutes.
There was also a doubles victory for Harriet Dart and Maia Lumsden over Nikola Bartunckova and Alexandra Eala 6-4, 2-6, 11-9.
The Brits came back from 4-0 down to win the opening set and saved match point in the deciding tie-break.
British trio miss out on main draw spot
Meanwhile, it wasn't to be for Britain's Charles Broom, Ben Jones and Hamish Stewart who lost out in their final rounds of qualifying.
28-year-old Broom fell short in a tight match against Frenchman Clement Chidekh 6-3, 7-6(3), while Jones was narrowly beaten by Italy's Filippo Romano 7-5, 7-6(9).
Stewart - who was seeded 12th in qualifying - lost out in his battle against Sweden's Elias Ymer, 7-6(2), 6-2.
Mimi Xu hopes of a main draw spot at the Lexus Birmingham Open came to an end after the British star lost out to Tereza Martincova in straight sets.
Meanwhile, Charles Broom, Hamish Stewart and Ben Jones made the second round of men's qualifying.
Xu bows out in qualifying
31-year-year-old former Birmingham and Nottingham quarter-finalist, Martincova, defeated British teenager, Xu, 7-6(2), 6-1 to qualify for this year's tournament.
Xu showed great fight to come back from a break down in the opening set but after losing the tie-break, she soon found herself 3-0 down in the second. The Brit had three opportunities to get back on serve but the double break eventually sealed the win for Matincova.
2025 champion Greet Minnen beat Viktoria Hruncakova 7-6(5), 6-1 to return to the main draw, while there were also wins for world No.120 Ashlyn Krueger, Nao Hibino, Mananchaya Sawangkaew and Rebeka Masarova.
Brits through to second round of men's qualifying
Broom and Stewart both defeated fellow Brits to reach the second round of men's singles qualifying in Birmingham.
28-year-old Broom knocked out James Beaven 6-3, 6-2, while Stewart beat Sean Hodkin 6-3, 6-1.
In the next round, Broom will play Clement Chidekh of France after the third seed defeated Britain's Will Jansen.
Stewart moves on to face Sweden's Elias Ymer, who beat Anton Matusevich in the opening round.
Britain's Jones had one of the upsets of the day, beating ninth seed Keegan Smith 7-6(3), 7-6(5) to set up a match against Filippo Romano for a place in the main draw.
Top seed Martin Damm, Australia's James McCabe, August Holmgren, James Watt and Marc-Andrea Huesler all progressed into round two of qualifying.
The qualifying stages began at the Lexus Birmingham Open with Mimi Xu getting off to a winning start.
However, it wasn't to be for Heather Watson, Jodie Burrage, Hannah Klugman, Emily Appleton, Lily Miyazaki and Victoria Allen who all lost out in the second round of qualifying for the WTA 250 event.
Xu, who made her debut on grass at this event last year, held her nerve against Canadian Kayla Cross, eventually winning 6-3, 5-7, 6-0.
The 18-year-old will face former world No.40 Tereza Martincova in a bid to reach the main draw.
Watson narrowly missed out on a spot in the second round of qualifying after a 6-3, 6-4, 7-5 defeat to 11th seed Viktoria Hruncakova.
Burrage also lost out in a three set battle - 2025 champion Greet Minnen won their match 6-7(3), 7-6(6), 6-1.
Elsewhere, Klugman, Appleton, Miyazaki and Allen all lost out in straight sets.
