Day one: Qualifying starts in Ilkley
The action gets underway at the Lexus Ilkley Open today with qualifying rounds for both the women's and men's singles.
Third seed Dan Evans got a straight-sets win over James Watt - the Brit won 6-4, 6-2.
Charles Broom also booked his place in the next round, winning 6-3, 6-1 against Quinn Vandecasteele and Paul Jubb won 6-7(4), 6-0, 6-3 against Max Basing,
Emily Appleton booked her place in the final round, defeating fellow Brit Tegan Bush 3-6, 6-1, 6-2.
Oliver Crawford made it past 17-year-old wild card Mark Ceban 6-1, 6-3.
Joining them in the next round will be Ella McDonald, Ranah Stoiber, and Alastair Gray.
Anton Matusevich bowed out to Lexus Birmingham Open quarter-finalist Mark Lajal 6-7(6), 6-3, 6-1.
Katy Dunne, Finn Bass, Patrick Brady, Amelia Rajecki, Savannah Dada-Mascoll, and Brooke Black all lost in the first round.
