Vacancies: Independent Chair and Non-Executive Directors

Tennis Wales Independent Chair
We are looking to recruit an experienced independent volunteer chairperson to lead the Tennis Wales Board to drive the strategic direction of the organisation and ensure its effective management, whilst working in partnership with the CEO to successfully deliver our vision.

This is a non-salaried position; however, travel and other reasonable out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed for attendance at official meetings and events on behalf of Tennis Wales.

Tennis Wales Non-Executive Directors (North & South Wales)

We are also seeking passionate and professional volunteers from North and South Wales to join the Board as Non-Executive Directors. Applicants must be members of a registered place to play within their respective county.

These voluntary roles offer the opportunity to help shape the strategic direction of tennis in Wales, providing governance, oversight, and professional expertise. Skills in HR, Employment Law, Sport Management, or Marketing are particularly desirable. Travel and reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.

Application deadline: Monday 24 August, 12 noon

Successful candidates will be elected at the North and South Wales Annual Open Meetings. The North Wales role will begin immediately, while the South Wales role will commence in May 2027.
